Easter Fun

Well we had a very enjoyable week/weekend! The week flew by and then we were able to have a little family time for 3 days. On Friday we went to Rapid and had family pictures taken at JCPenney. Randie did amazing!! We found out that she is not a big fan of her carseat so we ended up carrying her around. I tried my carrier out and I think she thought I was trying to suffocate her!! She does not like to be held to close so we ended up just carrying her (which led to very tired back/feet by the end of the day!). She truly did great! And the pictures turned out really great!! Cannot wait to get them back!!

Saturday we spend the morning just hanging out and Rick and Donna brought over Randie's easter basket. We went over and enjoy some burgers for lunch and got to spend some more time with time. We headed to my mom's after lunch. We spent the afternoon helping mom clean her back yard and Kyle finished her garage door. Randie also got to meet two very important people! We went to the cemetery and decorated my dad (Randy) and my grandma (Sheron) graves. It was a fun time to get pictures of Randie with them!! What wonderful guardian angels she has!! That evening Ryan, Katie, and Branson came over and we dyed eggs. That lasted about a whole 5 minutes for Randie in her bumbo. She was not having any of it! Branson on the other hand had an absolute blast and most of his eggs were cracked by the end because of putting them in all the colors but boy was it a great time!!

Sunday we woke up and went to church! Randie got to meet plenty of people she had never met before which was a lot of fun!! We went to Ryan and Katie's for Easter lunch and some easter egg hunting! We then spent the afternoon hanging out and playing outside!! Randie got spoiled like she always does ;) And we had a great time spending time with family and friends!!

Family picture! Randie was not sure what to think about the grass! She was no impressed but boy was it a gorgeous day!

Wanting to get more mobile...if only she could figure it out ;)

Well we had a fun week/weekend. I was sick most of the week (Thursday-Sunday) but we still had a good weekend and got a few things accomplished....or we at least got to enjoy our little one which is far better than anything else in my book!! She has mastered the complete rolling over and is even able to get her arm out! And we are pushing ourselves and we kind if she could coordinate her legs a little better she might start scooting anyways!! Good thing dad went around and put protectors in all the outlets!!

Wednesday Kyle took me out for my birthday and Telli Morford came over and babysat for us! I am pretty sure Randie found a new friend!! :) It was a nice get away for the adults. We ate at BYBs and if you have not eaten there yet, I highly recommend it. Their burgers were amazing and the fries were right up there with it and it only cost us $12 to eat! So in our books, it was a perfect date night!

We enjoyed our weekend together but it went far too fast! We were suppose to go watch Volleyball and see Great grandma and grandpa Johnson and great grandpa Brice on Saturday with me being sick, we stayed home instead and got some snuggles in!! Sunday we spent the day lounging and playing! Grandpa Rick and Grandma Donna got back from their trip to Mexico so they came over for supper and we were able to hear all about their trip!! It was just a wonderful weekend overall! Excited for our short week this week as we will be heading up to Rapid on Friday for family pictures and to get stuff for my mom's 50th birthday party WOOT WOOT!! Enjoy some pictures to get you through the week and with a busy Easter weekend ahead, be prepared for adorable cute picture overload ;)

Enjoying some play time in our camo shirt :)

LOVE THIS SMILE!! She is really loving bath time now a days! She is too cute!!

It was nice enough all week we were able to wear a shorter sleeve (almost tankie) shirt!! The first summer outfit of the year :) YAY!!

Grandma Lori thought this onesie was appropriate Saturday when she visited ;)

Just waiting for dad to get home Friday to start our weekend!

Long Saturday filled with playing leads to one tired little girl :)

NICU helping hands and a beautiful little girl...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Yesterday was my birthday and nothing made my day better than knowing I got to spend the evening with ones I truly loved! Hanging out with our precious angel and practicing our rolling skills and talking up a storm was the perfect way to spend the day! Kyle was sick so that put a damper on some of our plans but maybe we can reschedule for another night!
On Friday night we got my wedding dress along with my mom's wedding dress boxed up so we could ship them out to NICU helping hands in Texas. This fantastic little group is taking wedding dresses and making them into angel gowns. They are for babies who do not get to go home with their parents; this way each angel gets an adorable little gown to wear at their burial. They make them for both boys and girls and highly suggest looking them up on Facebook and if you are unsure what to do with your gown....send it in! What an amazing thing these women are doing!
We spent the weekend celebrating various things! We had a baby shower to attend on Saturday afternoon and we finally got to meet mister Cohen James Gall!! It was so much fun to see all of them and finally meet their little man! We had a birthday party Saturday night for me and tons of friends and family were in attendance! Really made my day special!
Sunday we attended a shop party out at Troy's and we all had a great time! Hoping to get together with everyone a little more often!

Hope you all are having a great week! Feeling blessed as I get to wake up to one of the happiest, smiliest girls I know! Makes getting up early a lot easier!

Trying out another husker outfit!! We will get her trained right ;)

Believe she is yelling GO BIG RED in this one!

Another puma outfit...love the raised eyebrow!

My dress is on the left and my mom's is on the right!

Moms dress is absolutely gorgeous!! Will make some beautiful gowns!!

5 months old :)

Well Sunday Miss Randie turned 5 months old! I cannot believe how fast time has gone! It seems like just yesterday we brought her home! She weighed in at 14 pounds 9 ounces at her appointment last Thursday and she is happy little girl! She loves laying around playing on her playmat, rolling over, playing with her toes, yanking on the dogs hair, playing in the exersaucer, and we have started teething (O the joys!!). So excited to see the changes this month has to bring! :) She has completed our lives so much and we are so blessed to call her ours!!

Just laying around in between games on Sunday!

Our little deer outfit on a cold Monday!!

Puma was not impressed with my camera skills!

Big girl at 5 months old :)

She was much more interested in the basket!

And like all good things, we put them in our mouth ;)
