Riding horses and enjoying the races

We have been fairly busy recently and haven't gotten too many pictures taken. We got to enjoy a fun weekend at the Douglas drag races where we helped cook burgers, brats, fries, and onion rings for all the racers. This is something that we look forward to doing every single year and hoping we get to continue to do it,. It was Randie's first year and she did AMAZING!! What a fun experience for all ofus!

Randie got this adorable little pony from her cousin Ashlyn! She absolutely loves riding it!

Happy Little Girl!!

Enjoying a home made French fry at the races!

10 months/First Husker Game of the Season!

This precious little girl turned 10 months old on Saturday...just in time for the first husker game of the season She is walking along every piece of furniture we have, loves talking and saying daddy...yes that's her favorite! She loves eating solid foods now and enjoys playing ball with the dog! Cannot believe in 2 short months she will be a year old! Where has the time gone?! We also got to enjoy Grandpa Brice's auction with family on Saturday morning and then that evening we got to attend her first Fireman's picnic. We are so very proud of our firefighter!!

Little stinker crawls up on everything!

Cooking and Lake Time

Well we now have quite the little helper on our hands! She is constantly into everything as you can tell from the first photo with sunflower seeds scattered all over the floor. She is really walking along everything and loves helping us as much as she can! She is getting too big too fast!!

Helping dad cook some delicious food!!

Little stinker!

Someone loves corn on the cob!

Holds corn just like she holds her bottle!

She loves her Puma...now if only she could figure out how to nicely pet the dog!

Enjoying a little lake time!

We needed a bath in Grandma and Grandpa's camper sink to get the sand off!!

Finding all sorts of fun toys no matter where they may be hidden!

And we are off to the races!!

Happy Birthday to Kyle and Fair

Well Kyle turned the big 3-0 this year and he refused to have a big party. Instead we went to Halsey to spend the weekend with family. Safe to say we all had a good time while Randie absolutely loved being in the water (as well as Puma!). The next weekend we headed to Hemingford to take in the fair! Randie got to experience a lot of great food and fun times as did mom and dad! Was a busy couple of weeks but well worth every minute of it!

Mikayla came down a day early with us and her and Randie got to hang out in the river while we waited for everyone else to get there! Randie enjoyed it a lot!

Although the sand was not as good as she had hoped it would be!

Exhausted after a long weekend of camping. If you look close enough you can see Randie's foot on Mikayla's pillow! These two are wonderful together!!

Aaron and Amanda came over to hang out! Which means that these long lost friends got to see each other!!

We are walking....with the aid of toys!!
Great Grandpa Darrel and Randie are the two peas in a pod!! They enjoy each others company more than each other know :)

Randie got to pet a bunny at the fair and she enjoyed every minute of it :)

The young and the old at fair!!

This is how Randie does a 5K!

At the parade

Sharing fun times with great friends!

Waiting on the mud bog!

Mom and babe!!

We even got to try a sucker!

Grandma and Randie!! Lucky to have her in our life!

This is how we felt Sunday morning of fair! Exhausted!

Kyle's birthday cake...yes Safeway in Alliance even wrote on it LOL

Why should a crib only be used for sleeping when you can jump up and down?!

Happy 9 Months!!

This precious little girl turned 9 months on July 30. I cannot believe how fast this 9 months has gone! We are crawling all over the place, pulling herself up, walking along couches; we use our crib as a jumping gym! She loves all foods including fruits and vegetables and is enjoying exploring as much as possible! At her 9 month appointment the doctor was thrilled at her progress! It was stated to us that a lot of preemies plateau at 9 months but she is not seeing any of that in this precious little girl. She weighs 20 pounds 13 ounces and is 29 3/4 inches long! She is perfect in every single aspect and we cannot wait to see what the next month holds for us!! Can't believe she 3/4 of a year old! CRAZY!!
