Adventures in Sidney

Well we started back up this week at daycare at Paige's and even though Randie loved hanging out with Tracey and Millie...she sure was glad to be back "home". Unfortunately we only made it to Wednesday of this week before she caught a little stomach bug and we kept her home Thursday and Friday. We were able to break her fever early Thursday and by Friday she was running around like a mad woman. Mom and Dad on the other hand were a little exhausted still and needed a few more days to recover. This weekend we headed south to see some wonderful friends. Shawn and Jennifer Moore and their adorable two little boys met us in Sidney to spend a few days together. Shawn and Kyle fought fire together when they worked for the BLM and so it was a fun reconnection. The kids had so much fun together. We swam Saturday evening and then had pizza and ice cream. Sunday we got up and went shopping at Cabelas (because you can't not shop at Cabela's while in Sidney), had a fun lunch, and then went back and fed the geese. The weekend was way too short and the boys are already talking camping over labor day as well as hunting in December! Excited to get to spend more time with this adorable little family in the future!

Sleeping off the sickness!! Poor thing!

Someone loves dad's motorcycle as much as he does :)

Feeding the geese...she did really well.

These two were like two peas in a pod this weekend!! Loved watching them interact!

Father's Day Weekend!

Father's Day weekend this year was a fun one! We were able to spend three days just enjoying each other's company (HAHA). Friday we ran up to Rapid and took family photos and enjoyed a picnic in the park! We were even able to do a little shopping although that is a whole new joy with a toddler! Saturday we were able to give Kyle a little "dad time" while I took Randie to the state park to go swimming with some friends. We swam for a little over an hour and then went and had ice cream! It was the perfect temp for an afternoon dip and Randie had a lot of fun with her friends. We finished off the evening with a little outdoor picnic until the weather turned windy. Sunday we spent at Fort Rob with the Dannar/Annen side and Randie got to spend some time with her cousins. That evening we went down to Uncle Wayne and Aunt Rita's house and saw everyone. It was an enjoyable day for everyone!!

Shopping in Rapid is hard work!

A little picnic in the park!! :)

After an afternoon of swimming, a little picnic in the backyard was just in order!

Dad bought Randie some new golf clubs to go golfing on the fourth. She is starting to figure them out quite well...she is also figuring out that they are a weapon as well!!

Enjoying time with cousin Branson!

And Declan was just as happy!

Beautiful Weekend to be OUTSIDE!

This past weekend was an absolute gorgeous one! Friday Randie got to hang out with two of her cousins. Mikayla and Kadence were our daycare for the day! Randie had so much fun with them and I am so grateful that they all get along so well! Appreciate all the help we get from family! Saturday we started the day off with a 5K with some wonderful friends! Then it was the 94th Anniversary at the state park. Mom and Branson came up and we made a family day of it. We were all exhausted but boy did they all have a lot of fun :)

Carson and Randie rearranging shelves at Arrow Building while the parents were waiting for paint!

Just waiting to get on the paddle boats

Driving the tractor!

Nice little line we had going on!

She loved the animals

And of course, there is nothing better on a hot day than nice cold watermelon!

These are two enjoy each other...most of the time ;)

Someone got too tired to walk!

And to finish off the day we went to Donalds for ice cream! Branson and Randie shared extremely well!

We had to feed grandma Donna's fish while she was gone and Randie loved it!

Sunday was such a beautiful day so we filled up the swimming pool and let someone have some fun!!

Summer Days and Summer Nights!!

We have been very busy getting ready for baby brother to come along and getting Randie situated downstairs in her new room! We have been busy playing outside...Kyle got Randie's swing set put together. She LOVES it! We have been spending a lot of time at the lake too! Randie loves the water and has no fear (which is why she has to wear her life jacket at all time!) It's been a very active summer so far but it has been fun!

"I swear mom...these still fit" Randie's train of thought while going through totes of clothes for baby brother!

"Look ma...a worm!" She loves picking up the night crawlers and her daddy has never been more proud!

Just swinging!
Slide races with dad are the best!!

Loves going down the big girl slide

Got a little breezy in the afternoon at the lake but she loved looking out as we were driving back to shore!

Right into the water she went...no fear!
