Little Baby Boy---COMING SOON!!

Well as most of you know we are expecting our second bundle of joy in October! We found out at 20 weeks that we are having a baby boy this time and we are ecstatic. We cannot wait for this new adventure and know that Randie is going to be the best big sister possible! As most of you remember we went into early labor with Randie had her at 35 weeks 1 day. We spend 3 weeks in the NICU in Scottsbluff. Well this baby has plans of his own too! About 3 weeks ago we had an appointment and found out that the little booger is breech. We waited to see if he would turn but he has other ideas for this birth...lol! They told us we could try an inversion and flip him but the odds were not very good and I did not feel comfortable doing that. We have decided to go with a C-Section. We are scheduled to go in October 7. We have decided that we have some very strong willed children! We will see how well that pans out for us during their high school years HA!  We are very excited to meet the newest member of our household. Please keep us all in your prayers as this is a surgery and recovery is going to be a bit longer! Thank you all and please enjoy some belly photos!

Busy Husker Weekends

We have been very busy lately with some fun weekends! A couple of weeks ago we had the fireman's picnic and the kids enjoyed playing in the water and hanging out together. The next day Kyle had to hose testing for the fire department so Randie and I got to spend the morning together catching up on house work! :) The next weekend we got to enjoy a fun family Friday together. We went over and Kyle took his real estate test and passed the National portion. We are so very proud of Kyle for working so hard to accomplish this. Now to pass the state portion! After he took his test, we decided to take Randie to the zoo in Scottsbluff and we had an absolute BLAST!! I would highly recommend that zoo! Randie loved looking at all the animals and they had a petting zoo portion that she enjoyed!! It was very inexpensive for us to get in and well worth it! Highly recommend it to anyone! Enjoy these fun photos!!

All the kids enjoying the water at the fireman picnic.

All ages, young and old, liked to hang out around the coolers...the older for the beer, the younger for the ice! LOL!

When mama has laundry to put away, nothing entertains a toddler quite like a pair of socks :)

Mom had to find a way to entertain Randie while we waited for Kyle to get done testing. She figured out that if you blow into a straw, the contents of the cup bubbles. This was entertainment for a good 30 minutes!

Fun at the Zoo!

Randie loved the monkeys...and those creepy little things would follow us up and down the fence! HAHA!

Meerkats were entertainment as well!

Feeding the goats

And the donkey

Coolest slide ever!! Steps on the right side, slide on the left! Super safe for an independent toddler!

Playing on the tractor!

Daddy dressed Randie for the husker game and he was so proud of himself, and his little girl! And of course of the come back that the husker had! HA!

Coloring is the best way to start a Sunday morning!

Busy Labor Day Weekend

Well we had quite the weekend of fun! Friday night we spent working around the house and picking stuff up. Saturday was the first Husker game of the season and we went to Rick and Donna's to have a low key husker party! Unfortunately, they didn't win but that's ok...we will love them ;). Sunday we decided to try and go to Flintstone Village since it was suppose to be the last weekend it was going to be open...EVER (we have since found out that supposedly someone bought it and is going to keep it open so that makes it better). When we got to Custer Randie got car sick! Unfortunately, this mama forgot to pack any extra clothes and luckily they had one dress left at Flintstone Village and it just happened to be a 2T. The line to get into the village was at least a 45 minute wait and they didn't have any food that day so between two toddlers and pregnant mama, we decided it was best to go through DQ and go to the park. Branson and Randie had a good time at the park and we drove by one last time before we left town and the line still wasn't down. Too bad Randie's dress didn't say "I went to Flintstone Village and all I got was this stupid dress" because that was literally all she got...we didn't end up going in! Sunday night we spent some time with some dear friends and had a good evening eating pizza and watching the kids play. Monday was a relaxation day and Kyle surprised us with a picnic at the state park! We had much to celebrate as yesterday would have marked how far along I was in my pregnancy with Randie when we had her. We were 35 weeks and 1 day and we had her at 8:17 a.m. Therefore, we were a little nervous but we made it past that and we are still feeling good! Only 4 short more weeks left to go :)  Enjoy all these photos!!

Great grandma Janice had to come up and watch Randie this past week as daycare was closed with sick kiddos. They had a lot of fun together and I can say that I sure am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family!

Randie's little wagon came in extremely handy when we were moving firewood! She is quite the little worker!

Kyle and Randie built a firewood holder to be close to the firepit! Those two are always building something and I love it! She even knows how to use the drill, if only it were a little lighter!

GO BIG RED!!!

Just hanging out watching the game!

Sliding at the park in Custer! The kids had a good time!

Carson and Randie loving the slide at Zuvers!

Kyle surprised us with a picnic out at the state park!

Just swinging!
