November 15

Randie had a great day today! She is still on oxygen but only at .05 and honestly half the time she has it pulled out of her nose because she is a little turkey! Today we fed her with a bottle twice...and twice she ate the WHOLE bottle! Both times she was awake and she was hungry! She let us know it with her extremely strong lungs! :) We are so proud of her and so excited...hoping that the doctor will up the number of times we can feed her with a bottle. She gained weight last night and she is almost back up to 6 pounds! We were also able to do skin to skin again today and it was the first time in a while that Mandy didn't get thrown up on! Randie really is not fond of formula so it is a good thing we got breast milk. Last night Lori came to visit and tonight Ryan, Katie, and Branson came. We have thoroughly enjoyed having the company especially during meals as I some of our conversations now a days are absolutely ridiculous! If a person heard them while they were walking by they would definitely think something is wrong with us...sleep deprived already and we have not even gotten home yet! LOL! Kyle told the nurses today that he was getting a little nervous as all the other ones in the NICU are boys and he didn't think he would have to worry about that for a few more years! We must say that the nurses up here are fantastic! They always greet us with a smile and most of them have gotten to know us well enough that we can really get to joking around! It makes visiting even more fun! Excited to see what the weekend will bring!
