Life with the Brices: November 16

Woke up this morning and received a text from the nurse on duty! It was a picture of little Miss Randie! She had been awake from 4-7 and they had given her a bath thinking it would wear her out but instead it gave her more energy (this was good to know for the future!). They sent us a picture of her crazy hair again! Love that hair so much and cannot wait to accessorize it! Randie had a great day! The nurse said she was so hungry that she decided to feed her at both her 4 and 7 o'clock feedings by bottle. She did absolutely wonderful! After the doctor arrived this morning she informed him of this and he decided to up her feedings from once per shift to twice per shift. They fed her again at 4 this afternoon and she did great and we went and fed her at 10 tonight and she ate it all again! Needless to say, she is really getting this whole eating thing down! Hoping maybe they will up the feedings to 3 a shift tomorrow but will see! She is really starting to be more alert and it is so much fun to see all her facial expressions! We were also able to doll her up a bit today with a little husker hat that we had bought! It was a little large on her head but it was so cute once we got it on her! We were so glad that we were able to put the hat on her for a little bit and to leave it in the crib during the game! It was a lot of fun! She is still on oxygen but only at .05 still so not too much! Hoping tomorrow is just as successful as today! Thanks again for all your prayers, love and support! It's been a great week!
